Step-by-Step Instructions
<ol><li>Log in via RDP to your Windows server.</li><li>Open Chrome (or any browser) and go to mariadb.org/download, then click Download.</li><li>Open the installer once downloaded.</li><li>Click Next, accept the terms, and keep MariaDB Server selected.</li><li>Set a strong root password and keep the recommended options checked.</li><li>Keep all other options at their defaults, then click Next and install.</li></ol>

After installation you can connect using tools like HeidiSQL or the MariaDB CLI with the root password you set.
