Overview
Changing the server type reinstalls your server with the new software while keeping your world and plugins.
Step-by-Step Instructions
<ol><li>Log in to your game panel and click on your server.</li><li>Click Versions.</li><li>Pick the type you want (for example Paper) and click INSTALL.</li><li>Recommended: back up first and keep DELETE FILES active.</li><li>Confirm the reinstall and wait for it to finish.</li></ol>

We recommend Paper for most servers: better performance and more configuration options than Spigot.

Not all plugins support all server types. Check plugin compatibility before switching.
